Dress code

Gymnasts

DGC's uniform colours are Navy, Aqua and White. Uniforms have been designed for both training and competition. While training uniforms are optional for gymnasts, the competition uniform is compulsory for all competitors.

During training gymnasts must wear comfortable attire to allow for free movement and should ensure that all wounds are covered and long hair is tied back.

Uniforms must be ordered from the DGC office. All orders must be paid for prior to taking the garments. Uniforms are not available for loans.

Girls competition attire

Levels 1-3 competition WAG leotard and polo shirt
Levels 4 and up competition leotard (long sleeves) and polo shirt

Tracksuits with white socks are required for Interstate Competitions.

Boys competition attire

Levels 1 competition MAG competition leotard, polo shirt and white shorts
Levels 2 and up MAG competition leotard, DGC polo shirt, white shorts, longs with socks

Tracksuits with white socks are required for Interstate Competitions.

Jewellery

Only studs or small sleepers can be worn. NO other jewellery is permitted.

Hair, face and nails

Hair needs to be secured back neatly in either a pony tail or braid. It is advisable to use lots of hair spray to keep it in place. Glitter hair spray is permitted. NO make-up to be worn. Nails should be clean.


Coaches

All DGC coaches are easily identified by the coaches uniform of Navy shorts, Navy, Aqua and White T-shirt. The DGC Management Committee provides all coaches with 1 set of uniform. Coaches are encouraged to purchase additional uniforms as required.

Volunteers

Parents, gymnasts and other members of the community who volunteer their services to DGC for official events or functions shall be lent a "Volunteers" polo shirt to enable easy identification. A committee member will collect polo shirts at the completion of the event or function.
